The process itself, from the time you get to our facility until the time you’re done and getting back in your car will take less than 10 minutes. This ability to be time effective is what makes this type of treatment so desirable.

Three minutes at -240F, the blood vessels in the skin surface and muscle tissue constrict, forcing blood away from the peripheral tissues. This also aids in the removal of toxins and inflammatory properties that contribute to soreness and inflammation.

Filtered blood flows back to the peripheral tissues (skin and muscle) and surrounding joint space after exiting the chamber.  Clean, healthy, oxygenated blood enriches skin and muscles and as muscle tissue begins to warm, it results in and increased range of motion.

Over the next 48 hours, restoration or return to a former and better state or condition begins. The main results of this are:

The most commonly used Whole Body Cryotherapy protocol for athletes is recovery. There are two basic approaches to achieving a WBC-empowered recovery: Administer Session as Soon as Possible After Training which:

a. Achieves full systemic flush of lactic acid and other toxins

b. Increases body’s normal anti-inflammatory process for improved recovery

c. Causes a more substantial flush of inflammatory properties that would otherwise settle in tissue
